Arrianee LeBeau, Television Personality

Arrianee LeBeau

TV Anchor | Reporter | Educator | Dance Fitness Instructor

Arrianee LeBeau is from Orange County, California. While an undergrad studying Psychology at the University of California, Riverside, she was a member of a competitive dance troupe with aspirations of going pro. But Arrianee hung up her dancing shoes after she was hit and run over by a city transit bus.

While she always had a gift for public speaking and desire to help others, her inspiration to become a journalist came after a local newspaper contained inaccurate information about the tragic accident that nearly took her life.

Arrianee went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She began her journalism career in Eugene, Or for KVAL-TV. There she served as a reporter and fill-in anchor for the station's CBS and Fox affiliates.

She later went on to Anchor and Report the news for WVEC-TV/13News Now in Norfolk, Virginia, covering a wide range of local and national stories. Arrianee also served as an Adjunct Professor at Hampton University’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications in Hampton, Va.

Some of her most memorable stories were covering the stabbing attack of Va. Senator Creigh Deeds by his son, which sparked a mental health debate across the country. Also reporting from several 2012 Presidential Election rallies for Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama in the Battleground State of Virginia.

Arrianee gained extensive military reporting experience through events such as the 2012 Navy Jet crash into a Virginia Beach Apartment complex and the 2014 Navy helicopter crash off the Virginia coast.

She's also had her fair share of severe weather coverage chasing hurricanes (Irene, Arthur) and tropical storms (Superstorm Sandy) throughout Virginia and the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

When Arrianee isn’t on TV or teaching the next generation of journalists, she enjoys teaching dance fitness classes as a certified MIXXEDFIT instructor.
